TWRP A12 flashing instructions:

1. Boot your device in Fastboot mode
2. Fastboot boot recovery_filename.img
This will temporary boot your device to TWRP
3. From TWRP go to Advanced and choose "Flash curent TWRP" - this will permanently install TWRP but will overwrite magisk scripts, so root will be lost.
4. Flash magisk from TWRP - this will fix root.

Excuse me i am still running A11 with this TWRP provided by this forum developpers on Mi 11 (venus) i want to update to this new 3.9 kinda thing, is that allowed ?

Instruções piscando TWRP A12:

1. Inicializar seu dispositivo no modo Fastboot
2. Bota fastboot recovery_filename.img
Isso iniciará temporariamente seu dispositivo para o TWRP
3. A partir do TWRP vá para Advanced e escolha "Flash curent TWRP" - este irá instalar permanentemente o TWRP, mas substituirá scripts de magisk, de modo que a raiz será perdida.
4. Flash magisk de TWRP - isso irá corrigir raiz.

Hello after flashing the twrp (the latest version should be 6.3?) Is the installed magisk module deleted? What is the procedure to install the mosulo magisk? just flashed via twrp?
 
Hi, I'm trying to install twrp on my 11T Pro phone and it won't let me or I'm not doing it right. I recently unlocked it waiting for the required week, I haven't put anything on the phone and I have the MIUI global stable version 13.0.15(SKDEUXM) installed. I have renamed the file twrp -3.6.2_12-v6.3_A12-vili-skkk downloaded from the forum to twrp.img and copied into the ADB folder of the computer and opened the ADB window, I have verified that it recognizes the phone by putting fastboot devices and then putting fastboot boot recovery twrp.img and I get: cannot load 'recovery': No such file or directory. I have tried other twrp files or putting the command fastboot flash twrp.img but nothing, I can't. What am I doing wrong? It's been a while since I messed around with phones and I've forgotten to do things, I need a guide for dummies. I want to install xiaomi.eu_multi_XM11TPro_V13.0.6.0.SKDMIXM_v13-12 rom and I need help. Thanks.
P.S. My english is lousy and it is translated with google.

I have now installed this version of magisk on the phone. Can I put the same version back after flashing twrp?

Do not use the command: fastboot boot recovery twrp.img, instead you use: fastboot boot twrp.img, after that TWRP will boot. Go into Advanced and Select ,,Flash Current TWRP'' this will delete root if installed before. From TWRP reboot into Recovery, your phone is going to reboot to TWRP, you may need to put you password in for decryption. If you want to install Magisk, you can do that under Advanced> Install Magisk (or Install Magisk Alpha)
Edit: Is your platform-tools up to date? If not update it by installing it here: https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools, I've noticed problems with the newest TWRP file Version 6.3 (I believe) provided by skkk. try to use the Version 6.2

Please will some one help my friend tried to update my mi11t to the nee rom but it went into edl mode iv now got a new laptop but I don't know what I No what I need to download as I download the quantum USB driver but it's got a yellow triangle on it iv tried to update the legance hardware but I got stuck as I don't know why I have downloaded adb driver quantum drive and mi PC tool and mi pro tool but its connecting on device manager as quatumusb come but I can not get it to cum up on the flash tool will some one help iv rebooted my look laptop and deleted all files can some one guide me thru the process and what I should download but my phone is on a blank screen thanks
 
To flash magisk after putting twrp, you need to insert the magisk .zip file into your phone and flash it with twrp right?
