TWRP no longer decrypting so can't update root or rom

Hey,
I'm using Mi9 on weekly 9.8.15 trying to update to .22 - now TWRP does directly to main menu without asking for lockscreen PW to decrypt - so I cannot update anything;
I have tried 3 versions of TWRP doesnt seem to change anything -

any ideas here on how to do this?

Try use another TWRP ver, I've just reset all my PC's data so I can't give you the right version. But changing works for me

the .22 version seems to have messed up the gallery app - trying to revert back
it just crrashed; and somehow the name has changed to 'and'

On my phone galery works.

i reverted to .15 and gallery came back - but some albums have not been detected; seems a little wierd
the photo files arrestill there in explorer

also i keep getting message that messaging has stopped worrking - all texts do not load
