TWRP unable to read storage in Mi 10 UMI

Hello, I am using the TWRP-UMI-A11-202011102238-ONLY-AFTER-20.11.5 to boot or flash into TWRP, and found that the storage is encrypted (0 mb), USB OTG can be read, but cannot flash anything, So what I did was :

1. FORMAT DATA in TWRP. Reboot to TWRP Again, This allows me to access internal storage
2. Copied the latest xiaomi.eu_multi_MI10_V12.2.9.0.RJBCNXM_v12-11 rom to TWRP folder in TWRP and Flash
3. Reboot the phone.
4. Successful

My Question is this, After successful installation and boot and setting up, I would like to install magisk, so I rebooted to Recovery (TWRP) again, and found that the internal storage is read at 0 mb again. What can I do to solve this? How will I be able to make backup if I have to Format Data everytime to access the storage and also how to update to new release then?

Please assist as I would really like to use this rom. In case this question has been asked before, I apologize and please direct me to the link as I could not find any.

Thank you very much for the reference, May I confirm something? So the next time I wish to update to a newer release rom, I have to BOOT to TWRP through fastboot reboot command (using the recommended TWRP without flashing), then flash the update? To do backup I will also have to use this method ( as the recommended TWRP can decrypt)? Thank you again for your kind assistance

Exactly. Has it has been many times said. You must "fastboot boot TWRP3.4.2.b" but not flash it.

Thank you for the reminder, I have to inform you that The last device I used was a redmi note 3 pro before I purchased MI 10, I read through quite a few posts about flashing xiaomi eu on it and was quite confused by the guidance hence I finally tried and arrived at this stage, So please forgive me for not reading through your "has been said so many times"
