Unable to use/mount external MicroSD card

Hi guys, I just installed the latest MIUI 2.3.9 ROM. Had been using MIUI few months back and I just got back from the stock ROM. I'm unable to use/mount my external 16GB MicroSD card now, I remember there was a similar issue back then and used a patch to fix that issue, I cant find that anymore.Any solution / help will be appreciated, thank you.

(P.S: I'm soo glad I'm back on MIUI, its great !)

Well, I am not sure if it will work, but you can try flashing a new kernel (latest version of whichever you use). You can use darky ota app to download and check latest kernels (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ficeto.darkyromota)
