Unlock Phone While Calling

This is a MIUI question not a xiaomi.eu rom one.

On my previous phone I could go to the launcher during a call by pressing a button on the display and entering my unlock-screen password.
I don't find anything like that on MIUI 8. I found out I can go to the launcher by pressing the contacts or the note icon, after closing them. But that is not much straightforward. And there's a privacy problem too: if my unattended phone rings, somebody can answer and access all my data.

Is there any setting to access the launcher directly (after entering the unlock-screen password) and to let the access to Contacts and Notes password protected?

Sorry, that is not true. Probably I inadvertently unlocked the phone with my finger. No privacy risks.

The other question is still valid: to access the launcher I must start the contacts or notes apps and from there go to the laucher. Is there a more direct way?
