I unlock 5 devices in this week global with this method.

This method works cause in 3 days 5 devices has granted unlock permission - 13t, 14t, mi 11, redmi note 15 and Xiaomi 15

Right so i make mestake .. im from Poland but leave UK .. so i should use vpn ? or if i use mi app now i need restore all proces ?

Only problem may be with dev options after has permission bind account, sometimes vpn need, (3 devices need this trick, 2 not - dont know why),,

Hi, what can we do with a non-global device?

If you have non-global versions of Xiaomi phones, you can do two things:
1) use the Chinese version of the ROM and get OTA as usual.
2) flash it with the bootloader locked to the global ROM (JUST DON'T DO IT YOURSELF AT HOME) – but then you won't get any OTA, and GPAY may or may not work.

Theoretically, if you have an MTK phone, you can flash it yourself at home without any specialized tools (but with knowledge and a special program)
. If you have SNAP, you can only do it through NCUNLOCK (or similar services), for $50-80 per flash or upgrade to the new global version.

Aha, it is possible (2) to do it as long as there is an original Xiaomi global rom, i.e. for example for Xiaomi 15 pro it is not possible because there is no original global rom

Some Chinese models sometimes receive OTA updates after flashing a Global ROM without unlocking the bootloader. I don't know what determines this.
But generally, it's safe to assume they won't receive OTA updates.
