Updater Blocked

Aftersales installing the latest version of miui-eu, I got the question to permitt updater to access files, photos and such.
I did not know why to allow, so I clicked no and checked the box not to ask this permissie anymore.
Now the updater does not work at All anymore.
Is there a way to reverse my answer and get the updater working again.
