Updating From Xiaomi.eu 7.3.4.0 To Latest Miui8 Stable

Hi folks,

I'm sorry if I sound stupid but I tried to do research but am still confused with how to do it easily.

I have been very happy with the xiaomi.eu 7.3.4.0 stable ROM which I have been using since mid 2016. I figured I should try out the latest MIUI8 and was intending to update my ROM now.

Can I just load the latest stable ROM and use the updater app without losing any of my current apps/stuff or do I need to do a fresh wipe via TWRP and install from there like how I did it initially.

Otherwise, guidance would be appreciated if I want to use the latest stable ROM. Thank you very much for your help.

you need to wipe data and dalvik/cache. You'll need to update twrp too. Otherwise you might encounter some issues
