Updating Xiaomi.eu Rom

Hello,
I am wondering what is the easiest way to update my weekly xiaomi.eu rom for redmi note 3 pro.

Do i have to wipe data, dalvik and cache before flashing the update (factory reset) or I can just flash the update without any wiping data before, only after i flash the rom I wipe cache and dalvik?

Is it possible to update the phone via updater app?

Yes i have twrp. I just want to know if it is possible to update the rom without restoring data every time I do the update.

Is not that a dirty flash. Is there any possibillity of something going wrong with the phone?

No wipe data ! Wiping data partition means loosing all data. All necessary wipes will be done by update script.

There is always possibility, that something does not work as it should. Nothing ist 100% safe. But full TWRP backup before every update prevents of loosing data.

The Updater script will perform the needed wipes...if you need root you will if course have to re-apply SuperSU....
