Usb storage

Sorry, maybe someone asked, maybe everyone knows. But i couldnt find any solution to connect my phone as a usb storage. I want to reach my photos and my files and i want a new rom. But i couldnt sucsess to connect phone to pc. My rom is v5, is there anyone to help me?

Windows 7 pro. I have one pc too, its windows 7 home premium

I use linux, but what I had to do was: (on phone) Go to settings -> Developer options -> Enable development and roll down and enable USB debugging. Then I was able to get into the internal memory via USB.

A bit off topic.. but at developer options you can also disable those horrifying rounded corners
