I am not sure if I am the only one but sometimes I wasn't able to swipe to receive an incoming call. The touch screen just wasn't responding. In fact, I had to press the lock button to turn off the screen and turn it back on before I can swipe to receive the call.

Happens for me as well.. quite a few times.
I thought it was just me, but i guess I have company now
Can you describe the event a little in detail ?I guess it happens when you pull your phone out of pocket, something related to proximity sensor ? Because, i always house my phone in my jeans & sometime it so happens that i cannot slide & answer the call after removing it from my pocket. I also switch off & switch on the screen & then slide to answer works.

happened for me on 2.7.13, & 2.7.20 as well. didnt encounter it with latest version yet. But i guess its not version specific and happens usually when the phone is in pocket while you recieve a call ! nt sure if it is always the case thoughWhat version are you guys running of miui stuff like that normally can help a lot to now.

It actually happened to me this weekend but dint really think much off it but im using 2.8.3 when it happened
For the past few versions, I have been having this issue. I am not sure if this is there in latest version. Could this be a hardware issue?

Could be a lot of things but the best thing is probably when it happens to get a catlog and send it to miuiandroid.com maybe they can look into the catlog and see whats wrong or causing it
