Why can't Chinese IP addresses visit xiaomi.eu?

I'm having an issue with my VPN but also with my phone, and wanted to download latest .eu build... but I'm met by a 403 forbidden error when I try to access.

Ended up having to get my VPN back up and running first before I could come here

It's the server here blocking access (I get an nginx disallowed error) not the Chinese GFW

which is why they would not want you to download it? XD

idk man, juse use vpn :/
