Why Can't I Downgrade From 6.12.8?

A few days ago I flashed 6.12.8 based on Android 7 on my mi5. I wasn't pleased at all, unlike the past Xiaomi.eu roms, with apps crashing every second and no sim card detected. I'm OK with this because I know it's still beta. What I can't understand is why every time I try to flash a ROM that isn't the 6.12.8 I get a bootloop. I tried the last stable and the last official global dev, with twrp and with miflash. Now either i have the crashes of the 6.12.8 or the bootloops of the others. The phone worked properly with a weekly from Xiaomi.eu previously.

Did you used the flash all script?

You need full wipe / factory reset when down grade.

I had to wipe data as you said. The new rom probably has messed with this partition. I'll try to restore what I can from the backup with titanium.
Hope this post helps other people having problems with the last rom.
