Why didn't I receive Android 10 yet? Note 8 Pro.

I bought a Redmi Note 8 Pro two weeks ago. It is still on Android 9 with security patch 1. Nov 2019. This is pretty bad. Is there a newer software being rolled out and I should just be patient or is this normal with Xiaomi phones having old software? I had Samsung and Huawei before, they were more up to date.

Hello, I've just joined the community, I am still on Android 9 and MIUI 11.0.3 too (I admit i am pretty bad at doing "android stuff").
I have bought my Redmi Note 8 Pro few days ago, so...should I just to sit and wait for the OTA update?

It's possible to get A10 for rn8 pro here https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/miui/begonia/
keep in mind that it has many problems and you should stay on pie right now.
You can download newest pie ota though

Thank you for your answer. I’ll wait then. But to be honest: First Xiaomi device and already disappointed because of that.
