Why I did flash only stable version?

My phone is redmi note 8. I had already flash miui 11 stable version. My phnoe is work fine.
But then i flash another rom version, my phone didn't boot. Every time after boot it go to twrp.
What happen with my phone?

your ROM is causing problems, you need to load another ROM so it can boot into system
