Wifi-tether Issue

I am dual booting MIUI-4.2.28 and CM11.

Wifi-tether does not work at all - no connection - under MIUI but works perfectly under CM11.

Thoughts?

Well I am glad at least that no one else has this problem.

I still haven't figured out what the problem is though ...
