Will NFC (hardware wallet) work after installing xiaomi.eu

Hi guys,
I own a Mi 8 Global edition and I consider going to xiaomi.eu ROM. However, I use several apps for personal banking, which are using the hardware wallet.
I do not plan to root the the ROM. I just want to run the xiaomi.eu - will I be able to use the NFC hardware wallet with xiaomi.eu or maybe for example the apps can check that the bootloader is unlocked and will not let me?

I used my Mi 8 with xiaomi.eu ROM, unrooted, to pay in stores for more than 2 year without any problem. I used for payments bank dedicated applications and Google Pay, if I remember correctly I had the HCE Wallet option selected as Secure element position from Connection & sharing settings.
