windows 7 not recognize my xiaomi mi 1s

when i tried to connect my device to my pc
the device manager says that he doesnt have a driver for my device
and nothing....
my computer not recognize the device...


somehave solve this issue before?

just try to specify those drivers Mi-1 S usb driver

i don't use win 7, but i'll try

- extract the rar on your desktop
- go in the control panel ---> System and security ---> Device Manager
- find your device in the list right click on it update driver
then it should appear a wizard choose the manual way select the folder on th desktop

go through this steps and let me know if tis sols your problem

Do you want to transfer files on your phone or to use mi flash ?

Case 1

plug your phone to the pc go to Settings ---> Developer Options enable Usb Debug

then go to notifications menu and enable Usb Storage

Case 2

if you can't install those drivers make some screenshots of the error it gives or what you can't do

I had the same issue and never got it to work with MI2 drivers. Instead I used the built in ftp on the phone to transfer files over wifi. It works great out of the box on Windows 8 and Ubuntu 13.04 beta.

i have an sd card in the phone and just enabling the usb storage on the phone i can transfer files on it, maybe in your case you had to access to the phone internal memory?

if you need to develop for android than have you installed the android sdk?

go on the yellow sign than it will appear a dialog form like that

click on update driver
select manual driver selection
specify the path where is the uncompressed xiaomi usb driver

are you sure the cable you're using works?
if nothing works let's uninstall android sdk and google usb driver, uninstall your phone from the device management
reinstall all if this doesn't work you can try with other OS , but it would be a workaround
