Wipe cache & Dalvik

Hi ! I'm noob on xiaomi phones ! I use oneplus before.
I have flash Yesterday the xiaomi eu Rom on my global mi 8 no mistake with format data and the Rom is very great many features don't have on global only autonomy is less than global :-(.
I have restore all my settings and App's with mi cloud and I thought I was going to wipe cache & dalvik for have a firmware clean but after reboot to recovery and wipe cache & dalvik and reboot to system nooooo.
That wipe all my phone as if I do a clean flash ? I don't understand ? Wipe cache & dalvik reset the phone ? No I do to configure again all my App's and settings

I'm a bic stupid guys ! I had flash many rom but why I don't read on Twrp
It's not same Twrp on my oneplus and wipe the two first cache & data .
