Xiaomi 13 pro wireless charging capped at 30w?

I have received my xiaomi 13 pro replacement and I still have the same problem maximum wireless charge at 30w

i can assure u for the desktop wireless charger it's the charging adaptor u use. if u use the original Xiaomi 120w wired charger plugged into the xiaomi desktop wireless charger. it charges at 50w wireless no problem.

the only thing pending still is the 50w xiaomi wireless car charger pro, it still charges at 30w only even with the 100w xiaomi car charger plugged in oh well if it's urgent in the car i can plug in wired and get 100w charging so not too bad

Guys I need to jump in here as I'm finding my Xiaomi 13 Pro limited to 30w.
I've used the original 120W charger in the 55w wireless charger (MDY-12-EN) (the black/gold one) and... it's capped charging at 30w,
Same issue if using the original Xiaomi 67w charger with the dock, the 13 Pro is still capped at 30W.

Looking online, the 55W wireless charger has a version labelled as 50W but the model number (MDY-12-EN) is the same on both!
I've tried a different cable that was rated at 5A and it switched from "30" in yellow text, to "Mi Turbo Charging" which is effectively still 30W as far as I'm aware. Going back to the 6A cable gets me max 30W in yellow text where it SHOULD sat 50W but never gets there.

Getting on my nerves a bit, did anyone find a different solution than above?

Xiaomi 13 Ultra here. Maxes out at 30w using the 120w charger with the 55w Wirless charger (Gold/Black), works fine at 50w with the new 100w wireless charger, its the upgraded 80w wireless charger shown above (White).

Xiaomi 13 Ultra here. Maxes out at 30w using the 120w charger with the 55w Wirless charger (Gold/Black), works fine at 50w with the new 100w wireless charger, its the upgraded 80w wireless charger shown above (White).

Also another 13 Ultra here....with black/gold 50W wireless charger the speed is maxed at 30W, I think turbo mode makes no difference. I use it with 90W brick and white/orange USB provided. I guess I should have 80W or 100W to reach 50W....

So much confusion by Xiaomi and no precise informations, what charger fit's and provide 50w fast wireless charging to which X13-series phone..

i'm owning a non-pro Xiaomi 13: so can anybody please confirm that with non-pro and non-ultra the 50W/55W wireless charger provides 50w fast charging?

Hello everyone. My phone is Xiaomi 13 Global version (codename is fuxi). I'm using xiaomi.eu stable rom.
A few month ago I've investigated this issue. So pls find below my findings:

1. Original wireless chargers 50w and 55w - both in black color. And for both the model is "MDY-12-EN". They are absolutely the same, the difference only as follow:
50W model (MDY-12-EN) - set of wireless charger + wired charger 67W + cable 6A
55W model (MDY-12-EN) - only wireless charger

2. The model "MDY-12-EN" will charge Xiaomi 13 by full 50W power

3. Regarding Xiaomi 13 Pro, the charging by model "MDY-12-EN" will be limited to 30W due to different location of magnetic coil.

4. That's why Xiaomi released in 2023 upgraded 50W version (in white color).
The new 50W model is "MDY-14-EN" especially for Xiaomi 13 Pro to get full 50W power. In addition, new model is more quiet than previous.

5. Soon I will test new 50W model "MDY-14-EN" with my Xiaomi 13 (not pro). I believe also get full 50W power.

6. Original wireless chargers 80W (MDY-13-ED) and 100W (MDY-13-EL) will charge Xiaomi 13/13Pro by full 50W power. The only remarks they are very loud and can be annoying while sleeping and resting.

7. Original Car wireless charger 50W, the model "WCJ05ZM", will charge Xiaomi 13 by full 50W power.
However, for Xiaomi 13 Pro the power will be limited to 30W due to different location of magnetic coil.

I have that charger (MDY-13-ED 80W) and on my Xiaomi 13 ultra it only charges at 30w.

Weirdly enough, I purchased the even more powerful version advertised as 100w, which is the same design as this white 80w one but with black and gold accents, it does say charging as 50w and the fans kick in, though the older 50w one I had for the mi 10 ultra still says 30w but it's significantly faster than the one saying 50w
