I got my device from seller already unlocked with TRWP and Xiaomi.eu installed.

Updater app notifies me about update, I download and click install and it boots me into TRWP and nothing happens. I read some articles about that 14 series changed the way /data partitions are encrypted and so far you cannot access them. So I cannot access storage and pick installation .zip.

I haven't found if that's resolved already. So I ask you about is there another way to save personal data and flash somehow newest build?

I'm not even mentioning Chinese Mi mover that don't work with Global and EEA versions so doing backup by transferring files is impossible without repacking OS file and deleting Mi mover from system apps.

1. update ROM in TWRP (must use OTG-USB)
2. ROM update via PC: (PC requires to install drivers)
To use Windows:
- Unpack downloaded zip file in the PC (we recommend to use WinRAR)
- Reboot your device to fastboot mode (press volume down + power)
- Connect to PC via USB cable
- Run the quick launch installation script as an administrator from the unzipped zipper. windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat
- wait for the phone to restart the system

Install Tools and Drivers
- install USB drivers & adb and fastboot tools (Windows 10)
- install SDK Platform Tools (Windows 10 & 11 / Mac / Linux)
- install xiaomi drivers (sometimes necessary)
-> a small [howto] if you have driver issues
