Xiaomi MI-2 and LTE 4G

Well. I'm pretty sure that the modem that comes in APQ8064 is capable to connect on 4G LTE baseband networks, so why xiaomi MI-2 doesnt? Is it a simple matter of installing a new radio baseband via CWM android recovery? Or it is a hardware related issue?

If you look well the caracterize of the snapdragon S4 pro. The modem it is not included with the processor opposit to others version of that processor.

The processor installed into mi2 is the APQ8064.
As you can see below this model hasn't modem included. Others yes like the MMSM8960T. B
