Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus No Front Camera?

I just got my mi pad 4 plus and it came with a crappy 3rd party rom with lots of bloat so I immediately flashed the xiaomi eu room 10.1.1.0 (0DJCNFI). Now I noticed on my camera apps that there is no swap to selfie/front camera on any of them. I tried loading the front camera on facebook messenger and viber too but still nothing, they just use the back camera. Is it just my device?

I don't think that's the default camera app. Here is mine from mipad4. Not the plus but essentially the same tablet. As you can see there is a swap camera icon on top

100% sure the front camera is defective. Tried both stable and weekly roms and even face unlock says it can't detect the camera. Had it return immediately yesterday. Thanks for sharing your screenshots bro.

Hi I also noticed some problems with the front camera now and then. Im just recieved Xiaomi Mi Pad 8.0 4/64Gb LTE version and flashed the Xiaomi.eu MIUI Rom v10.1.1.0 (0DJCNFI) stable.

Problems that I noticed was when I try to unlock the tablet with face unlock. The feature doest always work even when I delete the face data and try to register it again it says something like front camera doesnt work. In order to make face unlock work again I need to open camera app and switch to front camera. I think this revoke the front camera and makes face unlocking possible again for a while.

Oh and in my situation I think in the camera app the switch button is active(not missing like in your case)

I would like to know if ths is because of the Rom or device.

I have the same problem. My front camera is not working. Is it broken? Or it is some drivers or similar type of software problem?
I have ordered my tablet from China and have no idea how to take it to
Warranty. Can someone help?
