Hello i have a mi5s with miui 8.0.10.0.0, and i would like to know why prints scanner doesnt work correctly, thanks

I guess the Mi5S has a new scanning technology by Qualcomm. When it's cold outside and your fingers are dry caused by the coldness, it won't unlock properly or after a few tries. When the fingers are moist, it works at its finest. But maybe some software corrections could help, dunno.

You use fake vendor rom man. flash official Xiaomi.EU or global rom.

my finger scanner on mi5s suddenly stopped working on 8.0.10.0 stable eu. i update it to 8.2.2.0 and now the latest 8.2.3.0 but still not working. Anyone else have this problem, any fix?
