Device: Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G
Issue started: Immediately after installing a HyperOS update
After the update, the phone completely lost cellular connectivity.
It shows no service / no SIM even though the SIM card works perfectly in other phones.
What I’m seeing:
Fastboot mode is accessible and detected by PC, but bootloader is locked.
Because there is no network connection, I also cannot complete Xiaomi account verification to unlock the bootloader.
So the phone works as a device, but the cellular radio/modem seems missing after the HyperOS update.
Solution anyone?

- IMEI shows unknown
- Baseband version shows unknown
- Mobile data and calls unavailable
- Factory reset did NOT fix it
- APN reset / network reset didn’t help
- Different SIM cards don’t work
- Phone otherwise works normally (Wi-Fi, apps, system)
