Hello

I have just discovered that Norton Family on Xiaomi phones can be very easy disabled by child. On my son Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S (MIUI 12.5) there is "Ultra battery saver" in shortcut buttons on top. If Norton Family is activated/running and even if the phone is blocked by time limit, simply activating "Ultra battery saver" and then disactivating it, parental control is no longer running and the app is useless. You have to restart the app and then reenable accessibility to make the app functional again. I tried every possible way to block this (including blocking access to settings, excluding NF from Power Saver), but unfortunately no success. Could you advise how to complete remove/disable UBS or exclude NF from this process?

I don't think this post belongs to the Bug section.

However to still answer your question, you can just put a password to open the device settings using App Lock (found under "Apps" in settings).
If you use a parental control for your son, I think it's fine locking the settings completely to prevent any unwanted tweaking.

Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately, I'm not looking to lock the app - I'm looking to lock access to the Ultra battery saver icon on navigation bar as per print screen attached.

oh well, you can hide the icon by using the edit icon on the last page, but you can't prevent him from going there himself and re-add the button.

Though if he doesn't know how to do this, it would be fine I suppose.. better than nothing at least.

Alas, this is something you should report to Xiaomi, we can't deal with issues related to third-party apps.

Hi, how I will report it to Xiaomi? It is not really third party app issue, more Xiaomi as it is their design which doesn't allow any Parental Control app working correctly.
