Thanks for the though, as I noticed before, and now again... MIUI backup is NOT reliable. Apps get restored yes. But all system settings, layout, themes, are gone.
And yes I checked everything during back up and everything during restore.
I guess I have to relayout everything again.

For that case I was doing screenshots before cleaning and saving those screenshots with all other files. After flashing I'd look and reconstruct whole layout from beginning since as you have noticed layout is not getting backed up

Since 4.12.5 my phone has undergone many random reboots that were ending in bootloop (boot animation goes on and on and phone vibrates randomly while boot animation is going on). Previously I dirty flashed the updated or same ROM on top of bootlooped version and somehow I was able to recover ROM and continue using it. But now even if I clean cache and dalvik cache or dirty flash, it doesn't stop bootloop. Do those random vibrations in bootloop mean something? I haven't backed up my data thus Im trying to avoid clean install or anything like that.

With the latest version (4.12.12) my phone has some random reboot. I think it's a problem of WSM Tools, that I installed yesterday, but after the @Elbay Malik's comment I think it may be the version 4.12.12

Any idea?

The thing is that Im using sMIUI in both of my systems for a week, one with wsm and one without. And wsm didnt have any issues till 4.12.5. Maybe after that it started to give effect. But @SkiFire13 it also depends on which module you have installed. What modules are running right now in your wsm tools?

I have problems with WSM and MIUI THEMES module since the first time of MIUI v6 ... I had exactly the bootloops you are describing. I stopped using WSM Tools with v6 and had no bootlop ever again.

By the way now I understand why it vibrates. Since I dont see the battery level I keep my phone charging when in second system. And when phone wakes up it senses the charging and vibrates. But something is preventing phone from leaving boot animation...

I have problems with WSM and MIUI THEMES module since the first time of MIUI v6 ... I had exactly the bootloops you are describing. I stopped using WSM Tools with v6 and had no bootlop ever again.

Well, I recall that there was an emergency signal at boot to terminate wsm tools. Do any of you know that signal? It was present in settings part of wsm module where it said "safe boot", a sequence of buttons to be pushed at boot to disable all wsm modules.

Btw I cannot drop wsm since I need greenify to keep my phone running at least 8hrs without charge and without heating up. Thus wsm module powered greenify is must for me.

Is it possible to flash such zip files over sMIUI 4.12.12? Since I cant use xposed and smooth volume control is also very important for me I thought there should be other way than WSM...

And one more question. If it is not possible to use WSM, can I use xposed instead? Or it is prohibited either?

I would like to report a bug ( also present in older releases) The rear microphone does not work. It is an indication of different users Italians.

You can try just using the stock application, "recorder 'of miui and try to talk to the second microphone on the back of the phone
