For first installation of Mi2S v6 Android 5.0
- You have to be on latest 4.12.5 MIUIv5 or 5.3.27 MIUIv6 Special Edition
- Then install our multilang via Updater app like usually
- Wipe all user data in recovery or via settings highly recommended!

For first installation of Mi2A v6 SPECIAL EDITION
- Install v6 via MiFlash (flash_all) - image
- Then install our multilang via Updater app like usually

Xiaomi Redmi Series:
- Xiaomi Redmi 2 4G LTE
  • Multilang for HM2014811 model (China Unicom/Telecom variants)
  • Multilang for HM2014813 model (TD or 2GB RAM version)
- Xiaomi Hongmi/Redmi NOT 1S (Doesn't have weekly releases):
- Xiaomi Redmi 1S (Doesn't have weekly releases):
- Xiaomi Redmi Note (Doesn't have weekly releases):
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G LTE (Doesn't have weekly MIUIv5 releases):

Installation:

Xiaomi devices:
  • Install via OTA or Updater app
Other OFFICIAL devices:
  • Install via OTA or Download and flash Multilang
  • REBOOT
Other UNOFFICIAL devices and PORTS:
  • Download and flash our current Multi language ROM in CWM
  • REBOOT
Translators:
  • Follow XML changes in Source v5 repo here and v6 here
  • Our translation guide is here
  • Check for errors in your repo here

Notes:

  • Xiaomi changed rules for OTA and we cant use our servers anymore.. So we have to use only Xiaomi servers which are really slow.. sorry for that...

Fix - Sometimes, home screen icons were repeated (04-07)

when team beta rom miui v6 use android runtime for experiment. what is very fast android runtime or dalvik cache.

is the lollipop MIUI for Mi2s still a beta? or is it a developer/stable version?

I am going to update from miui v5 4.12.5.

Do I need to wipe all user data before updating? or after?

p.s. can i use the miui backup tool to import all my data and apps in the newly installed v6 lollipop?? or will I have to lose the user data?
 
will be resolved in this version of the problem app google (insufficient space, etc?) on mi2 32 gb thanks ..
 
Hi guys, has the 3rd party keyboard crashes and google services bugs been resolved in 5.4.10 mi2s?
 
All previous Google apps related issues are solved. Play Store, GMail, Stock keyboard, Calendar, syncing...etc. all working fine.
Furthermore the delay when clear recent apps from memory is solved too.

Just follow installation proposal in first post to avoid individual issues.
