boot to system then backup data with titanium or something, then clean install and restore your apps+data.
i made this trick it helped me, but titanium is unstable, better to find another backup app. migrate maybe.
I disagree that Titanium is unstable. I have two automatic backups per week. If ever I need to copy an app back, with its data, Titanium is normally successful with this.

If i double tap / click on a notification at my lockscreen (Redmi Note 10 Pro), It doesn't open the notification... anybody an idea how to fix this? Thank you.

If I want to go from xiaomi.eu stable to this weekly and want format data in process, what would be the best backup option? I want to backup all the data with photos etc. not only apps. So can I do TWRP backup, store externaly, format data, put new rom and copy TWRP backup back and restore? What will happen if TWRP will be different version from which backup was made with? Thx.
Everybody has their own preference how to backup their system / files.

I use three methods:
1) TWRP. I have not come across a backup process as good as this. It backs up the system completely - system apps, installed apps, widgets, etc. and their own data (but not supplementary files) and when you restore, all icons (and widgets) are in exactly the same position, and you are ready to go again. I always use this just before updating the weekly ROM;
2) Titanium. I have two automated backups per week, and have a maximum of 4 backups on the system. I do not often have to use the restore, but it is a good reserve;
3) MyPhoneExplorer. I use this mainly for synchronising contacts, calendar, logs, etc. with Outlook on my PC. Also what is very useful, you can set up your own custom backups for different folders on your phone to back up to your PC. So, I use this to backup my TWRP backup, and Titanium backups, and all important folders on my PC, like music, photos, documents, recordings, etc. I do this manually several times a week.

So I can afford to play around, get into bootloops, etc, because I have the backups that I can restore. I always take extra backups (and then onto my PC) before I do anything risky.

A question, I have used an application to know if the wireless charging works and it tells me that it is not compatible with my xiaomi mi10, does the wireless charging work with this weekly version?

Guys, check the backing up section here:
(In short nandroid for creating restore points in case of bricks, ~better not to backup data/media (eventheapp ~doesn't do it by default), tb/helium for app data, swift/migrate for apks+app data, app backup and restore for apk backup, miui native backup for system stuff like launcher layout wifis etc. and total commander for moving files to pc/extrnal drives.)

Because you might not check it out:

Backing up:
There are some options:

a)Using miui's native backup process to backup app data and apks (my device->backup and restore)

b)Using Titanium Backup (TB) to backup app data (can't restore apk, only data) and another app to backup apks, like backup and restore
(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup&hl=en
)

c)Using swift backup to backup app data and apks
(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.swiftapps.swiftbackup&hl=en)

d)Using migrate app to backup apks and app data
(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=balti.migrate&hl=en
)

e)Using twrp to make nandroid bakups (no root)

f)Using helium (no root) to backup app data (can't restore apk, only data) and another app to backup apks, like backup and restore.

I have a Xiaomi wireless charger.

As I posted in October (which still applies):
"With my Mi 10 5G, I can get four different levels of charging:
1) Ordinary charge;
2) Quick charge;
3) Mi Turbo charge;
4) Mi Turbo charge, with the decimal points counting upwards.

"These depend upon the cable and charging unit plugged into the mains. I have not unpacked the original charging unit and cable from the box, but I use the charging unit and cable that came with the Xiaomi wireless charging unit. These give the best charging power. With them plugged into the wireless unit, I get 3) above. With them plugged directly into the phone, I get 4) above."

I still get the wireless turbo charge after this week's installation.
Maybe it's the application needs checking! ;)

My feedback. As I said above, everyone has their own preferences:

a) Xiaomi's own. Not as full or as comprehensive as TWRP. As I remember, widgets and icon positions are not dealt with fully.
b) Titanium. I use it. I can restore app, data, or both;
c) Don't know;
d) Don't know;
e) TWRP - not yet found one as good as this. I think the best;
f) Don't know.

I have the 30W Xiaomi charger. WIthout checking the specs, I think that the Mi 10 (umi) is also rated at 30W wireless.

Just checked the specs on GSM Arena:
Fast charging 30W
Power Delivery 3.0
Fast wireless charging 30W
Reverse wireless charging 5W

Perhaps you will get my 4) on wireless with the 55W. I suppose that using the 55W on a 30W unit will be OK?

I think there will be no problem. Since the mi10 only charges at 30W, the charger is the power that it will give it.

I have a problem with Chrome permission dialog. (Mi 10/UMI)

I can't tap on deny or allow, It says that I need close any other app drawing over.
I had this problem in older MIUI12 versions, it was fixed with 20.12.28/29 and now is broken again. No new apps installed after the update and problem is here again with this update.

PS: I also tried to remove the permission "Draw over other apps" to all installed apps and problem still.
No one knows?

Hi, sorry if this is not the place but I am new... is this ROM supporting Double SIM and NFC on Mi10?
Thanks!
Yes, and yes. I got my Mi 10 (umi) from China, and it came with a single SIM tray. When I installed the weekly ROM, it showed two SIMs. So I got a dual SIM tray from China, and it is now a dual SIM phone. :)
I have been using Google Pay - with contactless payments. I have not tried NFC for anything else.

I know this issue on some internet sites...
I have no solution, if this message occurs I swipe from "right to left" and the message is gone :)

About floating windows, it's possible to disable them ?

I really hate this floating WhatsApp window...

I didn't find any place at configuration to disable them

I'm afraid that's not possible, unfortunately.
Floating window is more annoying than useful.

Hi together,

if I open "xiaomi.eu" I see a lot of different topics where I can post my questions.

But It seems that the only topic for all different questions is the weekly new rom thread ...

So before I use the search function or think about to post in a better topic, I hope somebody can help me with my request...

The display on my phone is black. Please help

hm.. which color would you like..?
I wanted to ask what would be the the scenario for CTS in all the stable ROMs it will fixed in the weekly ROMs after this upcoming update but what about all the stables will the devs push re-uploaded roms or all stable ROM users need to wait for the next stable update in CN Stable and then then the safetynet issue will be patched.

will it be a feature for the next weekly rom update ?
If I can wish, it would be nice if it will be transparent, so that I can see my icons again :)

And by the way, if you play pokemon, please add me lvl45
