Mix 4 Weekly are always A11, so update from TWRP

And read the annonce in changelog :
Due to the Android 12 upgrade, Xiaomi MIX 4 weekly ROM releases will be temporarily suspended starting from 25 October.

I'm not sure - but unlikely. It would probably need things such as a factory reset, format, etc. Easiest method would be to restore from your backup.

I have noticed 2 failures since I went to 21.10.20 and 21.10.22 with a XIAOMI MI11 ULTRA.

Since I installed these versions, I have no sound from incoming notifications (whatsapp, telegram ...) and this is very frustrating.
Another problem that I have noticed when installing it is that the restoration from the Xiaomi Cloud crashes.

But my biggest problem is the sound of the notifications. To rule out that it was a problem with the installation, I have made a clean one, and the same problem.

if the issue is the same you can try this

better make a logcat and analyze it

How to create a logcat file

# connect phone with PC and USB
# set USB debug - on
# create a textfile -> eg logfile.txt in adb folder on PC
# adb logcat > logfile.txt
# make actions on phone and wait for issue
# ctrl+c (to stop logfile recording)
# analyze the logfile
# send the last eg 5 seconds, the relevant entries

I should have read this before flashing, cause I'm having exactly the same issue. I will try the SMS trick after giving it another update pass, see if that fixes it somehow.

Well, the SIM trick seems to have worked!
Why? Don't ask me. I guess it has issues initializing the service or something of the kind? But well, to anyone having the issue of the screen flashing on the lock screen on their MI 11 Ultra after flashing to this ROM.... Thats how you fix it for now, at least.
 
The latest Android 12 beta always displays a white ring around the selfie camera when it's active (for security reasons?). The ring is too close to the camera which results in pictures that have a strange halo around them, it looks like an ugly filter.

I've added a screenshot what it looks like, however the white ring around the camera isn't visible in the screenshot.

DON'T RESTORE YOUR CLOUD GOOGLE / XIAOMI BACKUP A11 > A12
First boot don't restore, don't connect Google account, just finish to configure first boot for swipe on your Home Screen.


All Force Close / Permissions bugs / Reboot occur because of that.

Mi 11 Xiaomi.eu A12 21.10.20, 21.10.22, never add a FC/Reboot
 
I have strange problem with A12 on MI11. I have Baseus GaN 65W charger. This charger was able to do "MI turbo charge". Yes, it WAS able to do it in A11, but not anymore in A12. If to connect this charger, phone will show turbo charge information and turbo charge sign on the battery icon, but it will not charge. Ok, some charging is happening, but it's veeery slow - 1% in 10 minutes or something like that. Xiaomi original GaN charger is working properly, Baseus charger was working before, but not anymore. Am i only one with this kind of problem?

Edit: Ok, i see, someone is reported the same problem today

Anyone has any problems with mobile data being slow? , 4G "+" is not available for me. Mi 11 latest weekly. Thank you
 
The second space feature isn't working correctly for me on my mi 10, on this build. Whenever I try to enter/create second space, my device soft reboots.
Any solutions?

i did a factory reset, but then it boot into TWRP which obviously does not work in android12 (ie frozen screen). so i have to force a reboot which then the phone boot back into normal (with data intact)

i might need more helps on how to downgrade to 11, as 12 is just too buggy
