Based on my experience, Ingbrzy would say that: If you want Lollipop, buy Xiaomi Mi5 when it will be available, or put one in your mouth

I would correct this one: you can have full support 'till the new phone is out (so maybe for another six months from now) then you're not doomed, but Xiaomi won't give a fxxx. Luckily the community is alive...

Oh really? 3 years-old Mi2 gets updates till now with v6 4.4. Old Mi3 still has updates and will get 5.0.

If you see mirrors then download from mirrors. Just don't care with that Invalid version. It's just a word... Nothing important for users.

Nice update!

A few things though:

- all app privileges (root access, contact access...) are revoked with this update, no big deal tho.
- calendar seems to have new features but the multi-day events still not displayed correctly.
- and the calendar widget with the chinese symbols is a bit ugly (also the red "today" dot is a bit to big for my gusto)...

Yep! Had to ask that myself last update:
Security App -> Permission -> Settings (up right) -> activate permission manager

Yes, if I want to look for a specific artist, song or album, I cannot do it in my local archives but only on-line
