Probably is a Windows problem, not phone. I had the same issue, but solved it
Try turn Off USB Debugging in Developer Options
Microsoft already assumed the problem (faulty driver) and has a solution.

An incorrect device driver was released for Windows 10, on March 8, 2017, that affected a small group of users with connected phones or portable devices. After installation, these devices are not detected properly by Windows 10, but are affected in no other way.
We removed the driver from Windows Update the same day, but if the driver had already installed, you may still be having this issue.
Yes but know that your bootloader will be locked. So you 'll have to unlock it first and then flash TWRP for Android 7.0 and SuperSuIs it safe to update Mi4c from last lollipop 6.12.22 to the last 7.3.9 nougat directly, by updater app?

I'm aware of bootloader lock, but I wonder if the installation will be good enough for daily use, without further bothering with new twrps and future weeklys...Yes but know that your bootloader will be locked. So you 'll have to unlock it first and then flash TWRP for Android 7.0 and SuperSu
FYI to @all:
Solution after Windows 10 update brakes MTP file transfer and phone can't be recognized by the PC in transfer files USB mode.
I have had this issue and I successfully managed to fix it:
Connect phone and choose transfer files USB mode on the phone > open device manager on PC > find the MTP with ! mark and right click on it > update software device > browse on my computer for driver software > let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer > choose Android Device > choose "MTP USB Device" > Done
You can always use the stable version : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862704328I'm aware of bootloader lock, but I wonder if the installation will be good enough for daily use, without further bothering with new twrps and future weeklys...

I just know my steps worked for me and also worked for many other users who had the same issue after Win10 update broke MTP File Transfer...Acording to Microsoft, that solution may not result after a reboot. It's needed to do some extra steps, to prevent windows from re-install de faulty driver.
As i've posted before, the solution, according to Microsoft, is:
