Hey guys, i am having big issues with my firefox browser with the latest eu beta Rom 7.5.25 version.
It will randomly exit and ask me to send a report back to Mozilla. Which i have done many times. I thought it was the browser but mozilla have not reported any issues from any other devices. Could it be this beta Rom that is causing these issues.

I have the problem too, after upgrade to 7.
I already tried all the reported solutions that i found in the web. Clean flash with all data cleared, flash prestige.img from the fastboot rom, install rotate applications, etc.
Nothing works. The sensors are all ok, so i think this could be a software problem that will be fix in new firmware. After reboot rotate works as it should, then after a couple of minutes it becomes to lag and finally enter in complete stop. You are lucky with those 4-5 days
My english is also very poor, i hope you understand.

On mi5s although Google is installed and updated, I have set Google now to open when I hold the home button, if I press it the Google animation shows a bubble next to the home button but then nothing happens and the device doesn't recognize input until i press the back button
From some previous post, I notice that this ROM can also be used for Mi 6, but how come on the devices list on 1st post, the Mi6 isn't included?

Go to settings, installed apps, default and bottom is assistant app, choose google app and done.
Also lock google app in memory so MIUI won't close it.
5C Issues
When entering *#*#1#*#* and the Telephony when I try to click on Production Target and set to "China Unicom"
it's not working because Production Target is greyed out.
How shall I do that?! Production Target is GREYED out here - I can't change a thing!!!
Every time I switch to LTE TD-SCDMA WDMA through *#*#4636#*#* it keeps switching back!!!
I also tried editing build.prop but it doesn't accept it, either
Sometimes, it shows up 3G/H correctly.. but if you open e.g. Chrome, it switches to E ... ALWAYS!
Why doesn't this work?:
On my phone "Production Target" is greyed out too (state is "open"), but I could switch the Frequency Mode anyways. Maybe there is a connection in the software between the mode and the specific type you choose?
On my phone the "Test Tool" or the "Band Tool" never worked. Anyone has an idea why?

Figured it out: this PRODUCTION TARGET Setting on the 5C - it is only working on china stable ROM 8.1.10.0. In none of the versions after this one, it's working...
I tried it out in 8.1.10.0 - and it's settable to CHINA UNICOM - and it's weel working with LTE / H / H+ / G ...
The question is: what's exactly the difference? How could we get this working in more recent ROMs? Is it the Song Assistant? (Assistant3.apk)? I can't simply copy it from the 8.1.10.0 because this version is odexed and so not compatible with the deodexed versions...
Any ideas?

I am sorry if this has been asked before, I successfully flash this time and really like the fluidness and most features, however, I want to use Google assistant/search instead of the default search, without the need of an additional widget.
Okay Google command does not work, pressing and holding the home button does nothing.

As stated a few posts back, i have random crashes with almost all websites now. Mozilla have reported no issues, so im presume its to do with this beta version.
Its very annoying as when im filling in forms, or trying to click on a link to verify something, it will just crash and produce an error report to submit to Mozilla. Had enough of it now.
I don't want to change my browser as i have bookmarks synced to all my devices. So until another update is upon us, i guess i'm stuck with it. Was just curious to hear if anyone else had had these issues and if so, how did they fix them??

I remember having a similar sort of issue with an older version. If i remember correctly, i went into phone settings and disabled default search. Then went to my google settings in gmail, voice settings, and turned on google voice for home screen. Restarted and BOOM!! Google voice search worked great.
I also installed nova launcher which helped a lot with this. Hope this helps..=]

Before I was using official one and my mi5 had so many issues, e.g. extremely slow GPS, battery was running low very fast and fingerprint scanner also could recognize fingerprint after 3-4 attempts.
And now there is no any of those problems. So happy to find this community
