Google translator - not working

After updating to MIUI 13, the translator stopped working for me. It just tells me to check the connection.
I have the languages downloaded offline, tried clearing app data, reinstalling, enabling all permissions and still the same result.
I also tried installing older relase, but that didn't help either.
Can anyone think of anything else I should try? Maybe just downgrade to MIUI 12?

You aren't even using the Xiaomi.EU custom ROM...... Go to the official forum on c.mi.com and report your issue there incl. a Feedback ID (so report your issue in the Services and feedback app, get a feedback ID and report it in the c.mi.com forum incl. the ID as well - but not here). Good luck btw.
