howdy, got a problem I can't seem to fix after searching.
Phone: Redmi Note 11 Pro 5g, properly flashed end of last year to latest ROM, currently on MIUI Xiaomi.eu 14.0.4.0 stable
Can't for the life of me disable floating windows for conversations. No matter what I do, if I swipe down on my (minimised) status bar, any recent conversation with an unread message will open (slowly) in a floating window.
I'm not dragging down on the bubble notification, it happens even when there isn't even a notification in the status bar. I typically swiping down over near the clock and that makes no difference.
All settings in 'floating windows', inc individual app toggles, are all off. Happens for SMS, Messenger, etc.
Can't find any other related settings.
Note - this isn't the normal Messenger chat bubbles, they are turned off and stay off.
Is this a common issue or is there some other fix? TIA.
