How to Flash new MIUI for MI One

Please confirm these steps are correct to install new MIUI.

First download the latest version of the ROM (miuiandroid_mione-2.3.9c.zip)
Move "miuiandroid_mione-2.3.9c.zip" to the root of your sd card (i.e. not in the "downloaded ROM" folder.

1. Power off phone
2. Power on phone and boot into recovery (hold down volume up when pressing the power button to turn on, don’t release volume up until the recovery menu is displayed )
3. Navigate the menus in recovery using the volume keys to highlight option and the power button to select highlighted option.
4. Select Language (English)
5. Main menu > Wipe&Reset > Update System Partition > Yes
6. Reboot the phone ( Main menu > Reboot > Reboot to System One (Have to select which one u partitioned System One or Two) ), boot into System 1
7. In MIUI, launch the "Updater" app
8. Menu > Select Installation pack > (browse to the root of your sd card and select "miuiandroid_mione-2.3.9c.zip") > Update now
9. I think it got installed

This is for new phone who wants to install the English version of MIUI. Here I dont know about the BackUp.
Please correct me if anything wrong in the above steps for Partition and Flashing.

the phone is on 2.3.5n from xiaomi do i need to wipe all the data?

After some tries i got it to work im not sure but maybe i should have followed the first link and updated that way and this way is for updating after you got ICS?
Somebody that now this please let others now
