I am interested in flashing this zip file MOD to Xiaomi Mi-One plus for better sound quality.

Somehow, i am not sure how to flash this zip or extract and use it. I am very eager to use this mod and the reason to buy Mi-One was because i thought it would be open/unlocked to flash whatever i want, whenever i wanted. But looks like Mi-One has been the only phone used it stock config by me. Can someone help me flash this file plz ?

I just downloaded the file you linked to and unzipped it. it contains multiple folders including a folder with 2 apps that makes the program work.

So what you can try is unzip the files and use root explorer or another software if you want that.
Then you copy the zipped folders or the files one after one into the phones system NOT to the SD card.

1: Download and unzip the folders to your computer
2: transfer the unzipped folder to your sd card.
3: download root explorer or another software to your phone that can do the same
4: Copy each unzipped folder to the phones memory. (you will not be able to copy the entire system folder since memory root seemed to be read only.) (musicFX.apk will say that name is already used so i didnt move that app to my phone.
5: you will now have the app(s) on your phone i did a reboot just for safety
6: Try it and it should be installed
Make sure to change in SETTINGS/SOUND/MUSIC EFFECTS to AWESOME BEATS.

I was trying to copy the files one by one, getting into each folder individually and in between, the phone suddenly reboot itself and i have a host of force closes when i open music. i restored a backup and now it seems fine.

Did u copy folder by folder or files, one by one ? When you copy folders itself, wil it replace the entire folder completely or just merge the contents of both folders into one ?

Since you said it is working, did u notice any change in music playback quality ? I think it works amazing with Google music app. can you plz confirm ?

i copied folder by folder and it told me if i wanted to merge the folders.
I actually had to remove its working really sorry about that, i was trying but didn't get a difference so i copied the musicFX.apk also now, didnt want to replace my files i case something happened so going to try it again now since i copied the MusicFX.apk.

Update: No difference at all that i can hear.
It also say:
I have Modded DSPManager to use the libs & Audio files from BEATS to work with AOKP & CM9 ONLY!!
