hey guys,

has anyone successfully used any backup app or utility to move apps to the sdcard partition? the mi2s is only 4GB and storing games like real racing 3 eats up almost half that space. it doesnt seem like miui has any 'move to sdcard' functionality. not sure why its not setup for unified storage.

there must be an easier way to do this than hacking the partitions! anyone know why mi2s doesnt have unified storage or why MIUI doesnt have a 'move app to sdcard' tool?

I should have googled a bit! Looks like link2sd should work, but it looks like I just have too many apps installed and it just adds up!

You will need to get a good file manager app. That way you drag and drop or cut and paste files

Link2sd didn't worked for me one year ago. But maybe You could try again. I was lokking for an app to create symlinks in sd because I have some problems to make them appearing in both /storage/sdcard0 and /storage_int/ and I've found an app called FolderMount which also moves and creates symlink obb's and data's of any app to sdcard. But as I have no backup I haven't tried this. Maybe you'll be quicker than me.
Don't forget to do a backup before!
