Hello all,

I have tried to update and I'm in a "recovery loop".
Installing 'aries' version for my Mi2S: into recovery mode, wipe cache done, wipe user data done, update.zip failed when it was finishing....
Now when I restart my phone always enter in recovery mode, even I can't see it on my PC to put other version of update.

What should I do? Thanks!

Is Fastboot working? Try power + volume down.

You can flash a rom on Fastboot mode using MiFlash. Tutorial, the flashing tool and rom links you'll find here:
http://en.miui.com/a-234.html

If you had a backup of your personal files and want to clean everything, use the FLASH ALL option on MiFlash. Most of the times this is the recommended option, since it will clean everything and even rebuild the partitions for the current layout.

Get the MiFlash application. Download from the link above here. Then flash the package. Boot into fastboot and do a: fastboot oem unlock and flash a custom recovery (get a recovery.img file) with: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img .Then get a new multilang ROM (normal or SMIUI) and copy it over to your phone and flash that one. Mind you that the first time boots take about a 15 to 20 minutes with my phone. So wait a lot when you are booting and seeing the logo.

Thanks :)

I did it via MiPCSuite, into fastboot mode and flashing the last stable version (I don't know why but if I try with the weekly version it stops at 52% when it is sending 'system.img').
Now I have my phone working but I'll try again to put the last weekly version, what do you recommend me to do it?
Thanks again.

Maybe the file got corrupted when MiPCSuite downloaded it. That's the reason why I posted to use MiFlash, because I had a similar problem when trying to flash with MiPCSuite. Give it a try, manually download the fastboot rom, extract it and use MiFlash instead.

The link of step 1 is down, I can't download MiFlash.

I had the exact same problem: MiPCSuite stopped at 52 percent. I downloaded the fastboot ROM and flashed via MiFlash. That did work for me. I think it was due to a bad partition scheme or soemthing.
