Hello, I have a problem with a Xiaomi Redmi 12C phone. Specifically, my friend's child forgot the phone's password, so we wanted to try the "WIPE DATA" option. However, when entering recovery mode, that option wasn't available at all.
In another thread, I read that the reason for this might be parental controls being enabled, but even after disabling them, that option still doesn’t appear.
What can be done in this situation? Is it possible to perform a wipe via fastboot?
