Hi, I just dropped my redmi note 2 prime, since then i got random reboots (the screen and the touch is working perfectly). I think the battery is bad since after more than 65% battery percent the reboots come more often. Someone can confirm it if is possible that the battery is overvoltaging the phone and thats why is rebooting. I need to know to buy another battery or just buy another screen. Either way i checked with 3 roms if it was a software problem but still the same. Sorry my bad english. Thanks in advance.

I do not think of a battery problem. You've done installations well? You tried to clean the phone with the wipe? it looks like a conflict in anything. Eventually do a wipe data and install from 0

Thanks for the answer. Yeah i did it well and i wiped, factory reset and all the possible software related problems. And as you say i notice is probably not the battery. The smartphone reboot when the screen is off when am using it (like gaming or chatting works normally). Any ideas?

I can not understand, but I had these problems with other ROMs installed on other phones, were defective ROM. Use weekly?

That is not battery related problem.. What u mean for random reboots ? ( phone restarted by itself or ? ) U did clean flash ? any custom kernel flashed or u changed kernel setup ?

The phone restart by itself in random times(sometimes 2 hours, sometimes 10 min, sometimes every minute). By now i cant turn it on at all. I dont use a custom kernel. I use weekly updates. I'll try to do a clean flash again (if i manage to turn on the phone) and install cpu-z.

That recovery use?
Try to install CPU-Z from Play Store, see if the processor and RAM are in order
Hi, i installed cpu-z: The cpu load is going from 0 to 30% (keep changing i dont know if its normal). The Board is unknown. The bootloader is unknown. Battery is on 40 celsius on thermal cpu is on 50 and the mtkts are in 47 to 50 and mtktsbuck is on 53. Pretty sure is really warm (like when i playing). While i was reading the cpu-z the screen freee then a horizontal lines appear in all the screen then the smartphone turned off (then it automatically turned on). The lines meant that the screen is damage right? but it works normally when is on (all the touch screen works perfectly).

I have values from 20 to 25 degrees on the battery, okay now the phone was at rest. You do not have applications that remain open and make the processor work? I'm thinking that me and happened while the phone was very warm that you and off by itself, and a security system, but the phone was under stress maybe more 'than an hour

Your cpu and the rest of stuff were at the 30 degrees range too? I think all my system is overheating maybe something (like the screen) is connecting and disconnecting but i dont know. The weird thing was the unkown on board and bootloader.

But if the screen was damage in the drop the touch wont work didn it? So probably something was partially disconnected maybe the flex or something.
I do not know, do not understand why. Search the internet if you find applications to check the status of your phone, or other useful things. I'm thinking ... vacuum
