hello everyone i think now you know the majors problems of the redmi 3
i have actually a redmi 2 and wonder if a have to buy the 3 or an other one ?
thanks for your feedback

The hardware is great. But the official rom and support is s**t.
I would wait untill they finally release a dev rom that supports bootloader unlock.
And off course if there is still custom rom support here at xiaomi.eu.
If you dont want to wait, then i would look for a manufacturer that doesnt lock down their phones and OS. (if we want that, then iphone and windows phone are better alternatives :))

Rather buy a mi3 2/64 before it becomes unavailable. It is more powerful, cheaper and has mm support already plus unlocked bootloader.

IMO bootloader question (locked/unlocked) is a large factor.

Hello,

my answer is yes, but when i must have take one Xiaomi phone again, than i would buy a Mi 4c, i like it more than the Redmi 3. The price for the Mi 4c is falling.

Good lock with the decision.

Regards,
Note-2

There's no ads on an original rom, from miui or miui eu
You must have a different rom altogether which is probably why your battery is so bad

I've been Redmi 3 user for one week.

+ battery with my usage (2 mails, viber, hangout, facebook) it last two days
+ performance
+ style
+ 5gb space on Mi Cloud

- double tap to wake
- buttons are not illuminated

Did you test unbrick?

already tried..already read many post...none work...tried using MiFlash.. stuck at "reached the end of the file" error...using QFIL stuck at "sahara fail" error

But without Dev china rom in mobile, you dont unlock bootloader and dont flash TWRP...
