Something is odd, i have this version and works great, try to reinstall the rom.
The Mi5s not have global developer so how can we say its working?
I have installed this version and try to remove the fingerprints stored, and add new ones and no problems at all.

Mi4c - Updated to 7.4.27 "Android System" is consuming ALL my battery. It's having more than 70% of battery usage. I'm geting 2:20h SoT and the device is overheating very easily

Mi4c here. More or less the same is happening in my phone. With normal use the SOT as dropped one hour. The last 3 ROM's brought an improvement in the battery management but this one feels like a step back.

Lots of bug since many updates...
Memory ram fills up by itself , even with only two application in use, so it blocks for many seconds or minutes, kill the applications then...
Also problems with the 4G data, bad connection, no notifications, and when I turned on the wifi, the notifications appears immediately...
And when I turned off the wifi there is the text "oops connexion error" that keeps showing, even 20 minutes afters...
Really weeks go by, and it's worst to worst ... (sorry for my bad english i'm french)

How about Redmi Note 2 battery life and other performances ? In 7.4.20 have very bad battery draining issues, device overheating, and other minor bugs.

So far i've seen here, a lot of mi4s and other have lot of bugs ^^ (due to the updates, not the phones himself)

So guys I was on stable 8.2.2.0 based on Android 7.0 on the Mi 5. I flashed this rom. Hope no issues

I returned to this rom after some time and used my twrp script to remove unwanted bloatware as I always did on previous versions of xiaomi.eu roms. Now I see this screen every time I wake my device. List of bloatwares in the enclosed txt file. Leaving which one of them could fix this?

Mi4c here. I'm having a strange problem with the native mi browser (for some ROM's now): when watching a youtube video if I choose the full screen option the video stops and it's impossible to make him start. With Chrome this doesn't happen. Any one with the same problem or a solution?

Native browser never worked fine for me.
If you found that some version work fine try to extract browser from that rom and install on new rom.
Otherwise you found best solution (Chrome).

Settings -> lock screen & password (In the system&device section, after one full scroll at the top of the screen)
There, use the first option.
