Is there any 8.8.3 v2?
I install this morning the 8.8.3 on my MIDO and now, 10 hours later, I have the OTA notification to download the 8.8.3...????

I wrote about it. I've same problem on mi6.

Did anyone try to install on Redmi S2, or have working twrp?

I took the twrp out of the thread 8.6.28, Post 345 - so from this location: twrp-3.2.1-0-ysl.img - all other TWRPs i tried from varios locations on the net din't work at all

All Data on the S2 is lost - it will be reset to factory because of the encryption!

I started with Global Dev 8.7.12 on the S2 (i tried many ROMs as Base, but all the last xiaomi.eu ROMs didn't work on my two S2 - I wrote a Post in thread 8.7.12 v2 Post 1082, if You are interessted - I think, because of it's working now, that the Base could be irrelevant, but I didn't test it.)

1. "fastboot boot twrp-3.2.1-0-ysl.img"
2. Data is encrypted and TWRP can't access it and is asking for the encryption password - i pressed cancel
3. in the TWRP Main menu i pressed "Wipe" - and in the next activity I didn't "Swipe to factory Reset" - because of the encrypted data partition - it has to be fully formated - so I pressed "Format Data" and then "yes" to continue.
4. Now the data partition is accessable, but not mounted - for shure, I rebooted directly in fastboot (restart in twrp while pressing Volume down, because booting into bootloader can cause the data partition to be encrypted again - so IMPORTANT - directly into Fastboot
5. again "fastboot boot twrp-3.2.1-0-ysl.img" - now it will start without the question for the encryption password
6. Flashed xiaomi.eu rom,
7. wipe dalvik
8. Reboot

The reboot takes it's time, but until now - 3-4 reboots from flashing - the data partition is still not encrypted and can be accessed out of TWRP

The Rom looks very good - in the globals there is a mess of apps installed - the xiaomi.eu ROM is this clean, it shines brightly ;-) Thanks for that - I love it, to decide by my self, what potentially unwanted software I use

OK, this should be enough for now - I have to test the rom and make a twrp backup - perhaps I will flash magisk and twrp itself later on.

Returned to 8.7.26.
I had to do HardReset.

Thank you for your feedback. I had the same problems as you in the past, so hope that now everything will be OK. Will try to flash it tommorow, thanks again, I really appreciate your answer

Notification sounds - fixed.
New buggs:
Could not install MiRemote from Google market (Err 504). Installed it from Aptoid.
Installation of the last ROM deleted my X-Plore file manager, and It is not possible to install it ( Errot 505).
Hope to be fixed soon.

Installation uninstalled WhatsApp and only by wiping data I manageds to fix, from apk and from PS error 505

v1 - ugly icons in both themes (no backgrounds in Classic, different sizes icons in Default - huge Gmail icon as example. Limitless theme 8.7.26 - normal icon sizes, Default theme 8.7.26 - solid backgrounds)

Have you set the "priority to foreground apps" options in wifi settings on in any way? This option killed photos sync for me, disable all wifi enhancements and give it another try.

Have you enabled "raise to wake up"? it's a bit sensitive.

Edit: after a little reseach: It shows, how 'pretty' you are on that selfie... so even more useless

Imagine how crushing it could be that even an AI tells you how ugly you are that there is no possibility that it's just people's opinion and subjective.
