I updated to miui 10 and wanted to return to miui 8.2.1 but unfortunately after doing the backup restore i recieved an encryption failed message. somehow i managed to get miui working but i have no access to the external storage anymore, so i guess i will have to do a clean wipe and start over, so i am looking for a fastboot from on which i could install the 8.2.1 xiaomi.eu rom as on the xiaomi site is only Miui10.

unless someone can tell me how to get the external working so i can save the data before wiping it all

Not sure what you are asking, do you want a official fastboot Xiaomi ROM suitable as a base for flashing Xiaomi.eu 8.2.1?

As to what you have now, is the ROM Xiaomi.eu or official MIUI 10?

What TWRP do you have?
Did you do a TWRP backup of the data partition before flashing the new ROM?

Lastly, you might get more help on XDA then here.

as i can´t aces the internal storage anymore, even usb don´t work, i think i need to to all clean fastboot wipe, so i am looking for an official fastboot Xiaomi ROM suitable as a base for flashing Xiaomi.eu 8.2.1

now i see that i even can´t do fastboot, device not showed

If you have TWRP working, you can see what you can do within it.

Format data might help, possibly some other things there.

There was someone on XDA that had an USB problem, but I think he had burned the USB port somehow.

Without fastboot over USB you have a problem.

i did format data on twrp and now i have the internal storage and fastboot avabile again but i would still like to do a clean fastboot wipe with an fastboot rom on which i can install the 8.2.1 again

I'll look on my backup disk this evening if I have any older roms saved, but probably only EU ROMs.
I did save the last Android 7 version, 8.4.26 I think it was, but probably only the EU version.

I'm completely happy with Xiaomi.eu MIUI 10, something doesn't work for you?

i found it be a bit laggy, apps needed more time to open etc.
and for some reason i couldn´t find way to remove the annoying "app to big, use wlan" message

"app to big, use wlan"
??

Never saw that one.

First versions of MIUI 10 were somewhat laggy, gestures not so great, but now no problems.

You have to reboot 2-3 times after a new ROM, and give it a half an hour after every reboot to stabilize.
I think it is doing some "AI" stuff then, not sure.

I don't have any fastboot roms saved, and only 2 Global Stable recovery roms, which are probably not what you would want.

miui_MIMIXGlobal_V9.2.1.0.NAHMIEK_54d930a390_7.0.zip

miui_MIMIXGlobal_V9.1.1.0.NAHMIEI_6310b4fe9a_7.0.zip

i could try

??

You mean you would like to have the 2 ROMs I listed?

Not sure what exakt version is in these, but the later one is from about the same time as the 8.2.1 weekly.

But you really should use a fastboot China version I think, not recovery and not Global.

I can try to find some place to upload these for you if you want them, I don't currently have any cloud service I am actively using, will have to think about that a little.

Isn't there the new protection where you can't roll back? Not sure.

Also, the wlan thing.... I get it in Gmail and sometimes in Google play store but it helps there. The problem is Gmail (or the app) is trying to download something over and over again. Otherwise, the only thing that slowed my phone after updating was update. After like a year, I did a factory reset and installed the newest version and made everything 10x better.

There is no Anti Rollback in the official Xiaomi roms for Mix1, so far at least - I check them.

If you are using mobile data, not wifi, and have limited the daily MB usage in settings for that sim card, then you can get a question in Playstore for each download, if you really want to or not.
You just have to change or remove that limit.
