Lock screen not respond after restart

Hello friends,
Now I have a question, which makes me crazy:
Mi Pad 4 3/32GB Wifi

I have installed Miui 10.3 9.2.4 (weekly update) on my device and then got 2 OTA updates so I am now on MIUI 10.3 9.3.7.
Since then, this has happened to me twice, that is, when I restart the device, the device remains on the lock screen and I can not log in.
Everything is possible (use of camera etc. on lock screen) but the screen does not respond to my command to specify pattern or password, that is it does not come at all points for pattern or numbers to show password.
Many times restart did not help either, so I had to delete everything via TWRP (wipe) and then restart Android and I have to trouble fully reinstall everything (apps, etc.)
It's weird and I do not know what to do anymore.
Therefore, please for your advice.

Regards

that sounds weird - I suggest you flash an earlier version and check whether this works for you. I am also running the 9.3.7 on my clover, but without a similar problem, so it is obviously nothing general.

Thanks, I'll do it and come back to you.

PS.: Any idea for a complete back up?
I hate that, every time make all settings etc.

For the most complete backup, use Titanium backup when your device is rooted. For less complete but still very useful backup, use MiCloud or Google Backup. There are also other (paid) options, such as idrive.com that work well.

Thanks. My device is not rooted and with mi cloud or Google back up, I'm not really satisfy cuz they are less efficient for me. I need something, even paid, to mean a clone from my tablet/ phone and save it somewhere in my PC or micro SD for later if something happens, which happens to me during the problem hotter. Any idea??

The only thing I know which comes close to a clone, is Titanium Backup - but as I said, it requires root. In fact, I doubt that it will be possible at all to do a clone or a clone-like backup from a non-rooted device. A regular use just cannot access most of the file system that would also need to be included in this kind of backup. That's why all the apps that pretend to "clone" your device only backup/transfer the accessible user data (and now even less, as Google restricts the access to SMS and call log data for apps distributed through the Play Store, and more and more apps are "updated" to remove these features)

edit: one option would be to use the backup option of TWRP, which you should have installed anyway before flashing the xiaomi.eu ROM.
