I am trying to update from 12.1.3 to the latest 12.2.1 but the newly installed TWRP 3.4.2 is asking for the password in order to decrypt data. I cannot recall I had used any password for TWRP in the past. Entering the screen lock as password does not work!. Any suggestion so that I can update the firmware without losing data please? Thanks.

Change your pin password to a pattern and try again to make TWRP to decrypt.
EDIT: OR update your rom by OTG or external SD card if any without decrypting in twrp.

I have managed to update by following your advice. What are the change logs since 12.1.3 do you know? Also, do you know if there is a way to have the battery icon changed with percentage level showing next to it. Right now, the percentage is shown inside the battery icon and that is difficult to read. Thanks again.

To change the battery icon Go to
Settings > display > control center & notification shade > battery indicator

Try update your TWRP via adb first then see what happens

I am experiencing WLAN that cannot automatically switch from a weak wifi hotpoint to another even though I have enabled both WLAN and WLAN assistant. Very often, the phone remains at sim 4G without turning on wifi itself when I am back home with WIFI hotspots. Please advise again. Thanks.
