Hello how's eveeyone?

Ok guys please know that I am good at these things. I just hear flash and TWRP and other terms.. I am not very familar..

I followed this guide https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/guide-how-to-install-xiaomi-eu-rom-for-xiaomi-mi10-ultra.57259/

and I managed to get to unlock feature and then put new EU rom... I want to update to 20.12.10 from 20.9.3 how can I do that?

Please please help me.. I downloaded the update from the settings of the phne but can not innstall.. It did mentioned in the link I followed that I can not install..
But I don't know how to install!! :S

I am all confused I tried to do this and that and now my gyroscope and auto brightness are not working I feel even more depressed...

Please help me fix the gyro and auto brightness issue and help me update to 20.12.10

Thanks so much!

What I did was downloading the new ROM and I copied the content to the 20.9.3 file and close my phone then go fastboot "volume and power" then connect to PC then I open the CMD file "windows_fastboot_update_rom" and after the udate finishes nothing happened but this auto brightness and gyro broken on me :S

Update: actually now even the toggles settings not work...
If I pull for notifications it works. But if I pull for toggles and Mi home not work.

You need to install twrp. You do this from fastboot and your PC.
Once you have twrp as your recovery on your phone you can install more recent versions via twrp or using the phones updater.
I have attached my guide, so ignore the start and go to instructions for twrp. Links are on this forums ROM download page for the twrp files.
Just make sure you stay within your ROM branch. What I mean is if you are using a stable, stay on stable. If on weekly stay on weekly. This way when you install a newer version you only need to wipe dalvik and cache and there is no need to format your phone and lose data. If you do swap stable to weekly, then you must format.

Take your time, read the attached document before going forward. My guess is that something has gone strangely wrong while trying to update, may be a wrong update file. So make sure you only using CAS, or Mi10 Ultra named updates.

I can not find the fastboot one.. I can find in China but I want global rom..
Should I pick TWRP or EU? I will go for stable I don't want developer I can barely run my phone lol

If you go to the settings, click on my device and it will say beta if it's weekly.

There are no fastboot EU ROMs now. You need to use a twrp Stable ROM.
I am downloaded already stable rom EU one "xiaomi.eu_multi_MI10Ultra_V12.0.14.0.QJJCNXM_v12-10"

Also I am downloading the TWRP rom thing.. "MiFirm.net_xiaomi-mi-10-ultra-twrp3.4.2b-recovery-20.8.31.zip"
I already unlocked my phone so I will wait to try your PDF guide and see if I stumble anything I don't understand.

If you change to stable you must format your phone as there may be partition differences between the two ROMs. So make a back up, copy it to your PC first.

What is the difference between them? It is really hard to backup all my data.. I have over 200gb it does take time lol

If the difference is not too great then i will stick with beta and be done with.

You are looking at a fastboot ROM install, not twrp ( further down the doc). Beta ROM is fine, works ok for me, so go with it for now
First thing is to get twrp installed.

Before flashing these you need to install a new recovery partition. This currently is TWRP. You can download your version from here on the EU forum pages or Here and Here for Xiaomi phones if available.
The "here" part is not working.. I can not find the link to the recovery partition app.

I saw which file has .img and I replaced it with your name and it did work I guess? Now it is restarted and the phone is not in fastboot... It is normal now..

So what do I do now? I mean in your guide it says "This will reboot you into your newly flashed recovery partition, TWRP recovery " but I did not get anything.. The phone works normal not recovery partition app working...

You should reboot to recovery and install your ROM. But if you now have twrp installed, you may be able to update from your phone using the updater app. I am out at the mo but will be back home soon. Try this and if it does not work, then you need to reboot to recovery and install the ROM from there, wiping cache and dalvik before reboot.

Update, back home now. How did it go? Have you managed an OTA update or updated by twrp yet?

The links are valid, they are gdrive links but you can always get the files from the alternative link on mifirm.net or this forum
