Hi All,

Apologies for the long post but I hope it details the problems clearly enough

I have had a Mi 10 Ultra since August 2020, and for many many months I kept it on the China ROM because I was scared to put EU on it, it wasn't somethign I had attempted before

Eventually I did, after reading guides etc. I followed the step by step process on Trading Shenzen as this broke it down into the most basic format for me

This worked fine, the phone had TWRP, and I was able to update the ROM using TWRP a couple of times

Then I made a mistake and accidentally put a weekly ROM on, instead of stable, and there were a couple of instabilities which were annoying me, so I tried to flash it back to the stable ROM via TWRP and this is where the problems started

The phone would seem to install the ROM, but then only boot into TWRP. I tried this a few times, all with the same result, and I panicked thinking I had killed the phone

I got myself a Find X3 Pro, but it just wasn't quite as 'Ultra' so I spent some time researching what to to, and with a combnation of XiaoMiTool V2 and the Xiaomi Flash tool, I managed to get it back to a resurrected state

Then I followed the thread here How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Xiaomi MI10 Ultra and have now managed to get it back to the state of having MIUI 12.1 (20.9.3 Beta)
This particular method did not require TWRP

Then, I installed TWRP using the same method as described on Trading Shenzen, and tried to install the latest MIUI EU ROM, and it went back into that loop of only booting into TWRP

Now it seems that there is no way to install the latest EU updates other than via TWRP, but every time I try to do this via TWRP my phone doesn't boot out of TWRP

Does anyone know how I can proceed?

Thanks to anyone who has taken the time to read this far!

if you change from stable to weekly or vice versa, you have to format data in twrp, not only wipe. Android 11

if you want to install android 12 there is at the moment no 100% working twrp so you have to ise fastboot

A description how to install it you can find here. Scroll down to section "OLD FASTBOOT GUIDE"
https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads...iaomi-eu-rom-for-xiaomi-mi11-pro-ultra.59486/

Then it depends if you install the xiaomi.eu rom for the first time / change from weekly to stable vice versa or as an update
# windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat
# windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat

disable magisk modules before and unhide magisk before update if you have installed it and make a backup

Thank you so much! All I needed to do was to format the data first then move from weekly to stable - all sorted now, thanks again!
