Gallery app spy on me

Hello,
I have xioami mi10t with latest miui eu 13.0.1,
I noticed that the gallery app consume a alot of data while I'm not enabling sync!
unfortunately I can't disable WiFi usage for system apps, so as for now I disable the app (my device is rooted) and thinking about uninstall the app hopefully it will effect the stability of the rom!
Is this a bug or its really spy on us!!

Same crazy wifi usage with sync off. What could all the sent/received packages be?
